The wooden front panel, showing the outlines of the main buildings as well as the taxiways, is cut with a strong laser beam in the laser cutter and engraved in the same step.
For this purpose, we use a CO2 laser from Epilog and, thanks to a particularly flat leveling device, can produce three front panels simultaneously. These fill the oak panels, which we source as raw material from Austria, with little waste. The front panels are then sanded and protected from environmental influences by a special lacquer.
